My Dream Comes True: Benzaiten Center for Creative Arts is Open!

The project that I’ve been working on for the last three and a half years has finally come to fruition!  On January 23rd, one day after we received our CO, we opened our doors to the public!

Phenomenal Turnout for the Opening at Benzaiten

Our Grand Opening was a real life phenomenon!  A thousand people passed through Benzaiten’s doors to see our new facility, view the artist’s work who were taking part in the Lake Worth Art Synergy Event (that we were hosting at the same time), but most of all to see Shelley Muzylowski do her glass blowing demonstration.  The demonstration took three and a half hours and at one point one hundred people sat mesmerized watching the finely choreographed team help her create one of the beautiful horses that she is renowned for.

Shelley and her husband, Rik Allen, another extremely well-known glass artist, were flown in from Seattle, Washington by Habatat Gallery to demonstrate their glass blowing skills for the weekend of our opening.

The Art Synergy exhibitors were happy as well.  They had plenty of display area in the five thousand square feet that will eventually house our fine art foundry.  Sales were made so spectators and exhibitors left satisfied.
